The Scrambler
The Scrambler
This classic bomber jacket deserves a home that will appreciate its one-of-a-kind nature. Great around dogs, kids and cats. Fully house-broken. Loves to ride shotgun with the windows down.
The Scrambler's idiosyncratic, marble-like patina comes from a process called Sunny Dry: In Japan’s Hamamatsu region–where access to water from Lake Hamana is abundant and the sun shines for more hours per day than anywhere else in Japan–small batches of cotton twill fabric are dyed, washed, then hung to dry. Most chino you’ve seen before is dyed and dried flat to avoid creases and uneven color. Sunny Dry takes the opposite approach, which is what makes the finished product so special. It’s why we fell in love with this fabric in the first place. We hope you love it, too.
